Recent Beauty Purchases

Happy Tuesday!

Today, I wanted to share with you some of my recent beauty purchases. I have to admit something to you: I love beauty products so much I always feel the need to buy new, cool products. DISCLAIMER: THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY IS GROWING SO QUICKLY. DO NOT FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE EVERYTHING THAT IS RELEASED. THAT WOULD JUST BE INSANITY.

Now that I have that out of the way, here are some of the new things I have that I am excited to be testing out.

Drunk Elephant Volume 1: Hot Date holiday set- For $98, you get a full size of the TLC Framboise Glycolic Serum, and 3 other sample sized products. I was super excited to purchase this because I have been eyeing the Glycolic serum for a good amount of time now. I have been using these products for a little over a week, and am not sure how I feel about it yet. I will definitely be posting a review soon, so subscribe to stay updated:)

Another skincare product is the Philosophy Pore Extractor Mask- I have heard so much about this mask, I wanted to test it out myself. I have used it 2 times now, but I want to make sure I know my opinions on it before I share anything with you guys!

Yet another skincare product (can you tell I love skincare!?) is the Dr. Brandt Oxygen Facial Flash Recovery Mask- Although this retails for $70 (!!!!) on sephora.com, I found it for $20 at my local T.J. Maxx. I have never tried anything from Dr. Brandt and figured I would test it out since I found it for such a good price. Like all the other skincare products, I have not used this enough yet for me to give you a well-rounded review, but I can tell you that I actually really love it. The mask is so much better than any other bubble mask I have tried in the past!

The last mask I purchased is the Bliss Mask-A-Peel Radiance Revealing Rubberizing Mask- This is a product I have yet to try, but I am super excited to try it! I also found this at T.J. Maxx for only $6 (regularly $30!).

The last high end skincare product is the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Moisturizer- This is my holy grail moisturizer. I am actually in the process of writing (and researching) gel-like moisturizers and a review will be going up in the next few weeks comparing different products. This was just a repurchase that I needed to make.

The last high-end product I have is the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Shampoo- After Tati (from GlamLifeGuru) raved about this product, I knew I had to try it. I have a very dry and flaky scalp and recently was thinking of ways I could improve my hair. I have used this shampoo twice now, but again don't have enough information on it to share my thoughts! Maybe, I will do an "updates" post soon to share my thoughts on all these products with you!

A gel moisturizer I purchased to test out for that post is the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel-Cream for Dry Skin- I have not tested this product out yet, but I am super excited to because I have heard it is a dupe for my favorite Clinique moisturizer! I always love products that will save me money on the things I have to purchase frequently:)

Woah, that was a ton of skincare products. As you can see, I have been focusing on my skin (and hair a little) instead of makeup! I am just trying to use up the makeup I have instead of purchasing every new release:)

Let me know what products you have purchased recently! I'd love to know.

Thank you so much for reading, and have an incredible week:)

XOXO,
Jordan
