So I decided to start this new series. splurge or save. I’m going to compare high end products to drugstore products, and tell you guys if you should splurge or save.
Starting off with the Stila Stay All Day liner in stingray (black). This is a super black liner, that claims to be waterproof, and it won’t smudge. The liner has a great staying power when on the top lash line, but when in the waterline, fades after 2 hours. If you use this on your top lashes, you definitely have about 30 seconds to smudge it out before it sets. I love using this when doing a smokey simple look.
The Milani Liquid-like liner in black has great staying power, doesn’t disappear on your waterline, and takes about 30 seconds to set.
Even though I spent $20 on the Stila liner and less than $10 (prices vary depending on your local drugstore) on the milani liner, I prefer the Milani liquid-like liner!!
I hope this saved you money, because I always love finding much more affordable dupes!
