Guilt Free Desserts

I love desserts! Who doesn’t? But I also love being healthy. So I wanted to try and find a few ways to make desserts healthier and guilt free. This post has just a few of my many ideas of how to make healthier desserts. I’ll post more of these in the future so we can all enjoy healthier desserts. So here’s my first list of guilt free desserts! Bon appetite.

  • My number one guilt free dessert is super easy, frozen grapes!! Just pop the grapes in the freezer. When you take them out to eat them, they taste just like ice pops. Obviously this can be done with many different kinds of fruits but frozen grapes are my favorite.
  • This next one takes a few more ingredients but it’s honestly delicious. It’s a fresh fruit smoothie!! I usually pop whatever I have on hand in the blender along with some ice and plain yogurt to make it a little thicker. This is also perfect for using up fruits that may be not looking as good. The best part is, the only sugar that ends up in it is all natural.
  • This next one takes a little prep time but it’s one for all the chocolate lovers. It’s chocolate covered granola!! Basically, just melt some dark chocolate and then pour it into a pan covered with parchment paper. After pour your pre made granola on top and put it into the fridge for an hour or two. When all the chocolate has hardened, cut the mixture into bite size pieces and enjoy. This is great because you can make the granola however you like it. I like a ton of nuts and dried fruits but there are a million different combos.
  • This next one is for the cookie lover. It’s Chocolate Chip, Banana, Oatmeal Nibs. My family has used this recipe forever and it’s super simple and only uses 4 ingredients. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees as you mash 2 ripe bananas, 1 cup of oats, a handful of dark chocolate chips, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon. Place the mixture in blobs on a cookie sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes. Then just let them cool before you eat them. This is great because it’s super simple and it tastes just like banana bread. Also the riper the banana the sweeter the nibs will taste.

So these are four of my favorite guilt free desserts. They all taste delicious and are fairly easy to make. Tweet us a pic if you try any of these. Also comment below your thoughts and any suggestions you have for other guilt free desserts.
