I tend to lean towards more pink, nude or lights glosses for lips. But someone once told me that "Everyone needs that one standout red lipstick", and I could not agree more. There is something about a red lip that is unlike anything else. And even if it's not something you wear on a daily basis, having that one bold product on hand is essential. So today, in honor of Valentine's Day, I thought I would share my all time favorite red lip.
I recently just discovered the Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks, and they are too die for! They have over 50 shades, and I want them all. As for the reds, Underage Red is the way to go. This product is described as a "bright crimson" and I could not agree more. It has slightly cool undertones, so on the lips it is definitely a vibrant red but doesn't scream Crayola Crayons. This liquid lipstick uses a doe foot applicator for one of the smoothest applications ever; it literally glides on to your lips. It's smooth, creamy, and easy to use. It also doesn't budge for hours (trust me, it's stage/bright light proof), so theres almost no fading or running. It does have a matte finish, but I feel like with such a bold lip color, it works really really nicely.
