ThredUP

I was recently binge watching Fall Haul youtube videos, and I came across a few that featured the online store ThredUP. I had never heard about it before, but the concept sounded awesome so I decided to check it out. So far, I've had a really great experience so I thought I would share it all with you guys!

Ok, so ThredUP is an online consignment and thrift store (awesome I know, all the steals with none of the hassle) featuring high end brands at amazing prices. ThredUP carries everything from Kate Spade to Madewell to Anthropologie to even a few lower end stores like Forever 21. The best part is that everything is on MAJOR sale. You're able to see the actual price and then the price that you're paying for the item. And in case you were wondering, by major sale I mean that I bought a $70 pullover for $15 and another $137 sweater for $38. So yeah, that's pretty awesome.

My biggest fear going in to this was that I thought there had to be a reason these items were being sold at such low prices. Technically, ThredUP is only supposed to accept pieces that are 'new with tags attached" or "like new", but I was still a little skeptical. When you click on an item to add it to your cart, it lets you know anything that's wrong with it. For one of my sweaters, it said "minor pilling", but when I opened my package (that has bright blue polka dots on it) I honestly could not tell which one was had the pilling, they were all in amazing condition. I'm not saying that no one will ever have a problem with any of the items from this site, but so far I've gotten quite a few things and I haven't experienced any issues.

You can also send in some of your clothes that are still in amazing condition, but I haven't had a chance to try that yet. I'll keep you guys posted when I do.
