Before I get into today post, I just wanted to share my excitement. WOW AM I EXCITED. A few weeks ago, we got a package from Lancer Skincare with some of their top-selling products. I almost screamed with excitement because I have been wanting to test out their products for the longest time. With such a high price tag, though, I felt guilty spending the money. Today, I hope to share enough information for you to make a decision about these products!
I have four products to share: The Method: Cleanse, The Method: Polish, The Method: Nourish, and Eye Contour Lifting Cream with Diamond Powder. You can purchase these products on www.sephora.com or on www.lancerskincare.com.
The Method: Cleanse: $55 for 4 oz
The description on Lancer's site states that "this lightly-foaming cleanser is enriched with a rice amino acid complex, moisture-rich hydrators and skin smoothing agents. The cleanser gently removes impurities, surface dirt and sebum for healthy-looking, refreshed skin". I love using this cleanser morning and evening with my fore luna mini. It does a great job cleansing the skin while leaving it hydrated at the same time. If you have oily skin, I think this would be a must have! For 4 oz, I don't this $55 is TOO bad (yes, it is expensive, but Lancer is a luxury skincare brand). If you have the money to spend, I highly recommend it!
The Method: Polish: $75 for 4.2 oz
The description says: "This daily use skin polish is a skin resurfacing treatment. Formatted with a two-prong approach to exfoliation, this unique polish includes pure minerals and pumpkin and pomegranate enzymes to gently and effectively remove surface debris and dull, dry surface cells". This polish is the one product I think is worth all the money. This exfoliator is incredible. I don't use it every night (but in all fairness, I only found out it can be used daily when writing this post :P), yet I still get incredible results. My skin has never felt softer. This will be a product I always have on hand, and will keep repurchasing!
The Method: Nourish: $125 for 1.7 oz
This product is said to be an anti-aging moisturizer that hydrates your skin with nuturing avocado and oil fruit oils, hyaluronic acid and peptides to boost skin's hydration levels and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Even though this product was sent as a PR sample, I will never lie to you. I have no idea if this product works or not. I am 17 years old, so I don't find use any cream this focused on anti-aging and expensive. I have tried it once and liked it, but felt guilty using $10 on my face every evening, so I gave the product to my mom. She liked it, but with any anti-aging products, it is so hard to test unless you have been using the product for months. I have no doubt this product works miracles, I just don't think it is worth the money for someone my age or even slightly older.
Eye Contour Lifting Cream: $95 of .5 oz
Although I said the moisturizer wasn't worth the price tag for someone my age, I am in love with this eye cream. I don't have under-eye wrinkles (yet), and I still notice a difference. When I use this product, my eyes look so much more lifted and awake in the morning. The skin is firmer and brighter, and I need less makeup. I love this eye cream so much, but I am thankful I don't need to use it every day. Again, skincare is something a lot of people invest in, so spending $100 for an eye cream might not seem crazy. As someone without the targeted problems, I would not repurchase this cream now, but I am definitely keeping it in the back of my mind for when I am older! For anyone afraid of under-eye wrinkles, I doubt you will be disappointed!
So what are my thoughts on these Lancer products? All four items were good, 2 were life changing (only one usable now!), and 2 were good but not necessarily worth the money. If you are looking to purchase some expensive skincare, buy the polish first! Then the eye cream (if that is one of your concerns!), then the cleanser, then the moisturizer.
I am extremely pleased with most these products, and have found my new holy grail exfoliator!
A HUGE thank you to Lancer for sending me this package-- trust me, it was the highlight of my month! You can buy Lancer products HERE, or on www.sephora.com.
Please leave me a comment with the products you have tried from this brand and your experiences! I'd love to hear them.
As always, thank you so much for reading, and I will see you at the end of the week:)
#LiveLoveLancer!
XOXO,
Jordan
