A few weeks ago, Finesse, a haircare brand, sent me their Moisture Shampoo and Conditioner to review. I have been testing out the products for my last few hair washes and wanted to share my thoughts with you!
Like ever other post, these reviews are 100% honest, and I do not get paid a cent to lie about the product:) With that being said, onto the review.
Starting with the basics... Finesse Shampoo and Conditioner can be found at drugstores such as Walgreens, RiteAid, Walmart, and grocery store chains like ShopRite and Kroger. Each bottle comes with 13 oz of product and retails for $3.99. Crazy, I know!
The moisturizing shampoo and conditioner is "infused with active proteins to help restore and strengthen dry, damaged, stubborn and frizzy hair. The active silk and soy proteins penetrate deep into the hair leaving it more moisturized and manageable."
My hair is all that; dry, damaged, stubborn, and frizzy, so I thought this shampoo would work well for me. The first time I used the system, I noticed how silky and soft it made my hair feel. I loved the way the shampoo lathered, and how milky the conditioner was. I lathered up my hair, rinsed the shampoo out, and then applied the conditioner and waited 5 minutes. When I got out of the shower, my hair immediately seemed to be a little more lively and repaired. It could just that I was expecting it, or because of the claims, but I really do think I noticed a difference.
The only downside to this shampoo and conditioner, in my opinion, is the smell. Out of the shower, I really hate the smell. Fortunately, when I am in the hot shower, the smell is much less noticeable and strong.
Other than the intense smell, I really enjoyed using the product, and will purchase a bottle when I am out! I am so happy I found a really good shampoo and conditioner at the drugstore to recommend to you guys!
