Hey guys!
Although I love makeup so much, I also love trying out new skincare products. I find that I don't include as much skincare as I would like to, so today I am going to share with you my nighttime skincare routine.
Recently, my skin has been quite oily and acne prone with a few dry patches (so basically the worst type of skin possible:))
I always start by washing my face in the shower. I love using the Cetaphil daily cleanser with the KIKO brush to get off any makeup I have on. If I have a full face of makeup on, I will use the Boscia cleanse off oil, but I don't use that for my everyday makeup.
Then once I get out of the shower, I will wash my face again with the Murad clarifying cleanser. This cleanser helps control oil and clear up any spots I have.
After double cleansing, I will go in with my Farmacy Honey Potion Mask. I posted a full review on this product a few weeks ago, but I am freaking obsessed. It has worked wonders for my skin and I can't live without it! I'll wait 15 minutes for the mask to work its magic before washing it off.
I love using the Mario Badescu rose spray as my toner. I find this really helps hydrate my skin and add a lasting glow.
After, I will go in with my eye cream. I have been using the Kiehl's midnight recovery eye cream. The reason I apply this before my face products is because the chemical ingredients in the eye cream are smaller in molecular structure. When applied before anything else, the eye cream works much better. This eye cream helps with darkness under your eyes, so if you're a student this will be a life saver!
After applying my eye cream, I will go in with the Valentia Night revive retinol serum. I will be posting a full review of this on tuesday so stay tuned for that!
After the serum, I apply the Kopari Coconut sheer oil to any dry patches and a light layer of the cetephil moisturizer on my more oily areas.
Thats it for my skincare routine!
I know it may seem like a lot, and it is, but at the same time it really doesn't take me a long time. I also have noticed a huge difference with my skin texture. Please comment what your holy grail skincare products are below because I love trying out new things!
