Investment Pieces

So as we all know clothes can be…. expensive. You just have to keep buying and buying and buying new clothes. And yes I am correct when I say that you have to. However there are some pieces that you should have in your closet that will last you forever. This post will be about those items! So lets get started!

• Jeans - And a very nice pair at that. I prefer skinny jeans but get any pair of jeans that look good on you. And when you’re picking these out look for quality not price. Make sure that they will last you for years to come and definately make sure that they look flattering on you.
• Little Black Dress - Everyone knows that dress. Make sure it fits and again look for quality over price. This is such a versatile piece and has always been in style. You can wear this a ton and its just such a good piece to have on hand.
• Nude Pumps - Ok so nude pumps literally go with everything. They can be dressed up or down. Having a good pair that fits comfortably can last you forever! If nude isn't really your thing go with black, another totally classic style.
• Black Blazer - A blazer is such a timeless style. And a black blazer literally goes with everything from a dress to jeans to something very professional. I recommend a fitted one but you want one that is comfortable and well made.
• Fall/Winter Jacket - This one is kind of open to interpretation. I recommend something warm but honestly the styles are endless. You could go for a trench coat, a pea coat, or a puffy coat. But get something you know you’ll love in years to come.
• Sunglasses- This one is kind of strange but really a nice high end pair of sunnies can make anything look stunning. Make sure to do your research and make sure that the price you’re paying isn’t ridiculous and that the sunnies you buy won’t break instantly.
• Camisole - You definitely need this for all those times the shirt you want to wear ends up being a bit too sheer. These can be worn under any kind of shirt and investing in them can save you a ton of money in the future.
• Handbag - Really any kind of bag works. I like very structured bags but honestly any kind works. Invest in a good one where you know the leather won’t pull and the seams won’t snap.
