Skin Care Products and Tips

Hey guys!
So I thought since its getting cold I would do a roundup of some of my favorite skincare products. I have a really oily nose, but super dry cheeks so I need to try out some of everything!
Here are products that I use when my skin is more oily, or dry. I’ll use the products in the both section more often, because they fit either skin type. If you have combo skin, you can use any of these products below. I just wanted to make sure those of you who have extremely dry, or oily skin will have options that will be likely to work.

Oily:
Cleansers: Simple foaming cleanser-this is a little drying, but if you moisturize your skin well, it will be the perfect cleanser
Toner: Clean & Clear essentials deep clearing toner-really good for oily, acne prone skin
Moisturizer: Mario Badescu Control Moisturizer for oily skin-tightens, and brightens your skin, and controls oil
Oil: Fresh Seaberry moisturizing face oil-definitely your best choice for an oil. It sinks right in and isn’t too moisturizing

Tips: When you have oily skin, the first thing you want to do is strip your skin of its natural oils. DO NOT DO THAT! that horrible for your skin, and will make it even more oily. My recommendation is to use a light moisturizer during the day, but then use a heavier one at night.

Dry:
Cleansers: First aid beauty face cleanser- I find this to be moisturizing so better for dryer skinned girls (or guys)
St. Ives oatmeal scrub and mask- Gentile everyday scrub that can be used as a mask as well
Moisturizer: Cetaphil moisturizing cream-crazy moisturization with such a low price tag
Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion+- good for daily moisturizer
Olay night recovery cream-intense, so only use at night (as the name suggests)
Caudalie Vinosource crème sorbet hydrante- Good for daily use
Oil: Josie maran argan oil- WOAH. If you have dry skin, this will be your best friend
Mask: Korres wild rose sleeping facial-SO GOOD and smells really good too

Tips:
EXFOLIATE! Use daily ones daily, and a more harsh one weekly, or every other week depending if you skin is sensitive or not. Exfoliating your skin will scrub off any dead skin cells, so the products you use will get absorbed by the living cells (which are the ones that matter)

Both:
Cleansers:Clinique Liquid Facial Soap- super gentil, great for everyday use
Liz Earle cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser- AMAZING. I love to use this at night, because it really calms down my skin
Toners:Lush Breath of Fresh air toner water-refreshing and smells good and helps close your pores
cucumber cleansing lotion-just an average toner that I have and I really like it
Moisturizers: First Aid Beauty Ultra repair cream-great moisturizer that can be used all over (face and body)
Oil: Tarte maracuja oil- this oil is a mix of the fresh one and the josie maran one. Its lightweight but moisturizing at the same time. This is what I recommend for anyone who has something in between really oily, and really dry
Masks:GlamGlow thirsty mud hydrating treatment- UMM best moisturizer. Expensive but great!
Other:L’oreal youth code texture perfecting serum- I just got this, and I noticed a difference with the softness of my skin. I’ll update you guys later.

SO that was all my skincare recommendations. I threw in a couple of masks, but I will do a whole post dedicated to masks.

Hope this helps!
